Anchors Aweigh

Nautical New England Style

The only thing better than a long weekend is a long weekend when the weather is ridiculously amazing! The sun was definitely shining down on Boston, and although I worked on Saturday and Sunday, I couldn't wait to get home and take long walks with Brian, Bennett and Chewbacca around the neighborhood.

This warmer weather is the biggest tease ever. This past weekend gave me a preview of what lies ahead just a few months from now, and Spring can't get here any sooner. I miss endless hours at the park and taking Bennett for strolls down Beacon Street.

These Sperry Boots were perfect this weekend for sloshing around in the melting snow. They have a classic look, and I know I'll get a lot of wear out of them for years to come.

I almost shrieked like a little girl when I found this anchor sweatshirt at Old Navy. I added a little more nautical flair by wearing it over a blue and white striped button-down. This sweatshirt was a great find since I'll be able to wear it through Spring as well as throw it on during a cool coastal Summer night.

I know I've mentioned it before, but I'm a huge fan of the white denim in Old Navy's Rockstar denim line. They are really great quality jeans for the price point! I have this pair as well as this distressed pair when I'm aiming for a more laid back look.
