Scarves and Stripes Harborside

The Harborwalk in the Seaport district is by far one of my favorite Boston attractions.  The area is filled with amazing waterfront restaurants, fun water activities to observe and unbeatable views of the skyline..

It's also home to the Children's Museum which is where we spent the better part of the day.  It was our first time bringing Bennett and I don't think I've ever seen him smile more in one afternoon. They have a special area of the museum just for crawling babies and he had the grandest time rolling around and playing with the impressive number of toys. The area had a large floor to ceiling mirror where he was mesmerized by and couldn't stop laughing at his own reflection. They also had therapeutic dogs visiting the museum that day and Bennett got to spend part of the afternoon meeting and petting a bunch of dogs much bigger than his own.

There was also a Crew Regatta taking place and it was so much fun to watch.  All this combined with pristine weather made it a truly a perfect day in Boston.

This dress has quickly become my new favorite.  I love a good striped dress in the summer and this fit & flare totally nails it. And it has pockets!!!  It was perfect for our day on the harbor.

I chose to wear it with my pineapple scarf .  I love accessorizing with a scarf because it instantly makes me feel more sophisticated.  I also managed to steal Brian's Daniel Wellington watch for the day.  I love wearing a man's watch especially when worn with a more feminine outfit.

I can't wait to wear this dress again on the 4th of July!  Pair with a red lip and bag and it's a classy way to wear your red, white and blue!
